The
African Champions League 2003
What is the African Champions League and
how is the mode?
The African Champions
League is played over the year, starting in January, terminating with the
finals in December. In the 1999 edition 41 teams entered the competition.
In contrary to Europe only the national champions are allowed to take part.
(Like the old European system there is a Cup Winners Cup and a CAF cup
for the runners up in national championships).
