Against in the beginning timid Dynamos, Espérance took over command right from the start. The Tunisians made it look easy and had skillfully created already a huge opportunity before they scored after 10 minutes from close range by #17 Azaiez. - 0:1
The second goal followed after a sharp 18m shot by #2, the Nigerian Agoye, that made look the Dynamos keeper's saving attempt a little odd on the dry and difficult ground. 0:2
After first 22 minutes Espérance in the following seemed to realease the pressure a little and the next big opportunities came after 36 minutes when Tunisian attackers did not score from two 10m occasions and in injury time when #9 Zitouni missed with a header.
